We went shopping the other day and I got a cool hat, an awesome owl ring, some shoes, a sweater dress, two pairs of jeans, and a coat.  Oh yeah and I also got two bracelets.  One says pure awesomeness and the other has a bunch of smiley faces on it.  I'll show pics next time if there are comments.

On the way home we stopped at a gas station to get water.  Mom handed the open water bottle to Destiny and told her to drink, she wasn't paying very close attention and handed it to Samuel in the backseat.  Since it was open it went right down Samuel's shirt.  Mom freaked out and said, "Destiny!  Destiny no!  Just drink it!"  I'm like, "Mom, calm down."  Mom then burst out laughing.  Samuel was a little wet.

I got new blue tennis shoes for $7.  And they are awesome!

This a very boring post...sorry there isn't anything more interesting to write about.  :)

Apron Selling

So...today was the Taste of Home Convention and we were going to be selling our aprons, button bracelets, coupon holders, casserole covers, flower headbands, pins and hair clips.

It was kind of fun, kind of boring, kind of hectic.  A lot of people were there and we were quite busy.  The show started at 3:00 but we got there at 8:00 to set up and get ready.  A lot of people who weren't even going to the cooking show just showed up to look at all the other cute things that people were selling.

When the show started there was no one around looking at stuff so me and Faith decided to make a duct tape apron.  It took an hour and a half and turned out looking surprisingly cute.  I say surprisingly because we made a lot of mistakes while making it but hey it's our first one and we both thought that it turned out pretty nice.  The show ended and we packed up and headed out.

Isaac is quite funny at times.  He says whatsoever instead of whatever.  For example if you said that he liked rabbits more than chickens he'd say, "Oh whatsoever."  Isn't that funny?  Or am I the only person who thinks that this is funny just because of all the time I have been spending with my crazy brother?  Maybe I am just crazy.  A crazy person who thinks everyone around me is crazy.  Naw.  That obviously cannot be right.  Right?

Since school has started there really isn't anything unique to report about.  I am starting homeschool classes this Monday.  I am taking a writing class, art class and a Spanish class.  Homeschool classes haven't really been very enjoyable for me in past years.  I guess I don't socialize well with kids my age.  That sentence made me sound like I was trying to get the world to pity me.  I can assure you that I am not.  I am fine with being not social it's just my mom is all worried about me not socializing or going up to someone who I don't even know and talking to them like we were old friends.  I'm just not that kind of person.  I didn't really want to sign up for classes but I wanted to take Spanish and writing and mom made me take art.  I want to learn stuff but I want to do it alone...not in a group.  In past experience we had to get up in front of a group without warning and say stuff.  I hate doing that.

I am very tired and cannot think of what to write next so this is good night.

1st day of school

Boo!!!!  The first day of school was actually on Tuesday, but I am late recording the details of it so here you go.

Well I officially hate Algebra 2...it is the most boring thing in the world.  Two pages took me an hour and a half.  I stink at math.

Isaac has already started his ritual of going outside for two hours instead of doing school.

We recently got a play station 2 so Susannah went downstairs and started playing it when she was supposed to be doing her school.  I texted mom and told her that Susannah was playing on the play station to "improve her hand and eye coordination skills".  Mom wasn't too happy about that and grounded Susannah from it.  Isaac and Samuel also made the same mistake.

We had a campfire outside to commemorate the first day of school.  Isaac yelled at Charity because she dropped his hot dog because the hot hot dog burned her finger.  Memories...sweet memories.

Isaac found a walking stick outside and brought it in to show us.  Little did he know that there was more than one.  He set the bug free and felt this strange tickling sensation in his pants.  He shouted to mom that he thought there was one crawling up his pants and went into the bathroom to investigate.  Sure enough, right by the inside of his pocket was a large green walking stick.  He had a little case of the creepie crawlies after that.  We set his pants outside so the walking stick could go free without us having to touch him.  I of course wanted to get a picture, and here are some pictures of the walking stick and some flowers I took pictures of.

State Fair

This year I took my game table to State Fair for 4-H.  Faith and I also did a team demonstration together.  We got a blue ribbon.  Our demo was on rope tricks.  I think the audience's favorite was when we pulled the rope through our necks.  That was our favorite one too.

It was actually really nice weather at State Fair this year.  Except for the night mom and the rest of the clan came to the State Fair to see our projects and stuff.  I had left my sweater in the dorms because it was perfect weather outside and I didn't think it was going to get too cold.  Yeah....it got quite cold.  I was in shorts and a T-shirt and everyone else was wearing pants and sweaters.  And then the next day it was warm outside and I had brought my sweater with so I had to carry it around the rest of the day.  How predictable.  :)

We ate a lot of cheese curds.  Yum! :)   I got a blue ribbon on my game table too.  More later but for now I have to leave.

See you soon!
